This week we will be working on using literature to learn how to use money in order to get ready for Kid’s Marketplace.  Your child will also be getting their job on Monday for Kid’s Marketplace.  They can dress up like their job.  Usually there is a prize for the best dressed.  We will also continue writing our opinion piece.  Your students have been reading a novel in reading groups.  Ask them how it is going.

Important dates:
Tuesday, January 29:  Kid’s Market Place.  We need 8 volunteers per class.  This is really a fun thing to volunteer doing so we would love to have you come help us out.  If you didn’t sign up to volunteer we could still use you-just come on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m.
Friday, February 8:  We will be celebrating Chinese New Year.
Friday, March 15:  Third and Fourth Grade School Science Fair
