This week we will be discussing and reading about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  We will also be working on a new opinion writing piece.  Get working on your science fair project if you want to participate.  It is not required, but a great opportunity to learn something new.  Congratulations to our spelling bee winners:  Kayla Weber, Cierra Searle, Jonathan Hatch, and Daniel Murga

Important dates:
Tuesday, January 29:  Kid’s Market Place.  We need 8 volunteers per class.  This is really a fun thing to volunteer doing so we would love to have you come help us out.  We only have 4 volunteers-we need 16!!!
Friday, February 8:  We will be celebrating Chinese New Year.
Friday, March 15:  Third and Fourth Grade School Science Fair
Wednesday, April 18:  District Science Fair for the winners of our school science fair.
